I copied this from The Old Farmer’s Almanac 2006:
September and October will be exceptionally mild, with very warm periods in early and mid-September. Rainfall will be near normal in the east and below normal in the west.
Old Farmer’s Almanac brags on their 80% correct predictions!

As Brian chants “Sun, blue skies and warm weather… Sun, blue skies and warm weather… Sun, blue skies and warm weather… Sun, blue skies and warm weather…” 😆 .

There is a tradition that has begun.
2004 Planning Meeting – Rain
2004 Event Day – Sunny2005 Planning Meeting – Rain
2005 Event Day – Sunny2006 Planning Meeting – Rain
2006 Event Day – ?????We’ve had periods of rain every time we’ve had a meeting and awesome weather for the Event Day.
No worries. :flag:
Early Sept in New England typically has the finest weather of the year in this ever changing climate zone. For a few weeks we actually rival San Diego for the best weather in the country. They on the other hand, have that type of weather year round 😮
This may be the first year EVER that I hike into November!
So long as that white, cold, slippery junk stays to a minimal.
It would be nice to finish my 48’s… on Madison… on my 148th birthday! 😮
Hey Frodo!!
Welcome back! Sorry, I keep forgetting to welcome you home!!
Got any good hiking stories??? 😀Hey Madison,
Get yourself some Crampons, snowshoes and some warm winter clothes. Jen and I will hike ANYWHERES you want this winter. Youll finish in no time. We just got Jim a little taste of it this past winter and he is now nibbling. It will be fun. C’mon, whatcha say?!?! 😉 😆 😆

P.S. And just think of this…..it will be nice to drive home and snuggle up with your man after a cold days hike 😛 😀
SO long as New Hampshire is hiking… it’ll rain for sure. 😥

The first thing that comes to mind is the scene with Cam Neeley from “Dumb and Dumber” 😀 Too funny!

I predict that nothing but clear weather will come of this “curse” that has bestowed upon “Newhampshire” AKA Brian. 😛
