Osceola trip report:
Well, the most difficult time we had was finding the trail head except for Deb and Beth who got there at 8:30 expecting breakfast. Sorry girls maybe next year. This was a fun hike, good company and a great way to memorialize the tragic event of September 11, 2001. Special thanks to the “mules” Bob, Bubba, Brian and John for getting all the gear up Mount Osceola. Great job by all in getting the flag raised. It was little cold up top but I believe our patriotism kept us all warm. It was good to see Jayne make it to the top for her first 4k and let’s not forget “Team Lauren” for leading the charge up the mountain.
Let’s all plan on doing this again next year and I promise we’ll get better directions to the trail head.
