Just 1 week to go before the 7th Flags on the 48 Memorial Hike!
For anyone that would find a northern/central location more convenient, Jim Hill of TarryHo Campground (Twin Mtn) is offering a special group rate for the Flags event. He will set aside some of the river front sites for group camping. The rate is $11 per person for overnight guest. Anybody who wants to stop by after the event is welcome free of charge.
Jim has charcoal grills (BYOC), picnic tables, and coolers availble for your use. You could even try you hand at catching your own dinner in the Ammonoosuc River!
Saturday after the hike, all are invited to hang out at our trailer and use the grill, stove, microwave for dinner. Bring along your favorite beverage, some food to share, and let’s tell stories about our experiences of the day. :beer:
Please contact Jim at 603-846-5577 to make a reservation. Please let him know that you are a participant in the Flags on the 48 event, how many in your group and how many/what size tents. Then let us know via a PM or email so we can help Jim coordinate folks.
If you have an RV, Tent Trailer, or want to stay in a cottage, TarryHo can also meet your needs. Just talk to Jim. :flag:
