Our crew was all family. We camped the weekend at Sugarloaf II. It was a fun weekend.
This was our first year as participants. We have enjoyed encounters with this great event in years past and were honored to be taking part.
Unfortunately some of our photos, and the names of our visitors, were collected with a Blackberry which chose the next morning to end it’s life. Sorry to those whose names or photos were lost.
Our flag was flying by noon. We flew a 6’ x 9’ flag off the main pole and a 3’ x 5’ Flag of Hero’s off a second line. We had a flagpole mishap and ended up 4 feet shorter than planned but the remainder held up the rest of the day.
We dedicate our participation to the emergency responders who perished on September 11th and to those who still struggle with the aftereffects of that horrible day. Never Forget.
