We welcome parking at our house in Farmington and my parents house on the Alton/Barnstead line for carpooling and/or to follow us. We will also make a stop in downtown Alton if need be. We will leave from my parents house around 4:30am.
We will arrive at the Ferncroft parking lot in Wonalancet, NH (http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl) around 6am. We will hike up Kelly/Square Ledge/Walden trails approximately 5.5 hours. We will then set the flag staff and flag up for 12:00 noon. We will have lunch and explore the view points around the mountain top.
The flag will be taken down at 2:00pm. We will make our way down the Dicey’s Mill trail approximately 3.5 hours back to the parking lot.
In the chance of wet weather we will take Dicey’s Mill trail up. I will make the decision two days in advance and will notify everyone of any changes.
