I was just a participant and not the Peak Coordinator but I wanted to say thanks to those who put the effort into bringing the poles and flags up and setting them up. I came up the Crawford Trail, Scott came up the Edmond’s Trail over Eisenhower and we met up at Pierce. We came over Pierce and got to the summit of Jackson after 12:00, it was great to see the flag at the summit as we approached. It made those last steps a little easier. We met our brothers from Salem Fire and those from the Wounded Warriors. What a great job you all did with the pole and flag. The scouts had a second flag, thanks for your efforts too. As all ways thanks to the original hikers who went up Liberty 11 years ago, and to all those unknown to me who have made this the incredible memorial that it is.
