Our troop got an early start from Lincoln Woods before the rain but got hit by the storm on the way up. The hike was wet but the front went by before we cleared the treeline. We got the flag up early and the wind promptly ripped the flag from the pole. We retrieved the flag and rope setup from the trees and reattached the flag to the pole and got it flying again. The flag flew from 11 AM to 2 PM in strong winds and mostly overcast sky. The sun did make it out at times and we were able to see the Blackhawk when it flew by.
