First, I’d like to thank Danny and Jason for hiking in to raise Old Glory on the summit of Bondcliff. We had a few hikers come through and thanks us for our efforts. We flew the flag from 11 AM to 2 PM and enjoyed the BlackHawk flyby while visiting with our fellow flag raisers on Mt. Bond. We headed out at 2 PM hoping to beat the weather but as with many other hikers with long hikes out, it just didn’t work out. We logged 21 miles for the day and made it back to Lincoln Woods parking lot by 5:35PM still in good spirits. This is an awesome event and hope to be able to continue participating in the future.
