An amazing day on Cabot. Many thanks to the people who organize this event. The Andrews and the Iacopinos got to the top and were soon joined by Guy and Candy who helped set up the 20 feet of PVC pipe, we added some tie downs to combat the wind and flew the first rather large flag.
Soon joined by Rick Fink and his family. It was Rick’s 48th and he had a flag to fly in memory of his father. Down came the first flag up went Rick’s.
Around 1 our trip coordinator Steven arrived with a huge flag. After several attempts to get it up on the true summit, we decided to fly it from the cabin.
All in all a successful day on Cabot with many people up there remembering those who lost their lives on 9/11.
