      Heading up 19-Mile Brook trail at 7. We are starting early because I may have a few new hikers with us. The plan is to summit by 11:30 to begin constructing the pole.

        The flag measures 6’X10′. I have four 5′ sections of 3/4″ conduit that will be used as a pole. I will be using two pieces of the conduit as my trekking poles. It would be well appreciated if someone that is hiking Carter Dome would carry the other two.

          Report on 19-Mile Brook Trail, 9/2 from the AMC:
          2 bridges out, but water low and passable; minor blow downs; erosion especially first mile.
