Flag pole on Passaconaway

Just wondering if someone who has done Passaconaway in the past has brought a flagpole to fly the flag or if they just strung it from a tree. Couldn’t find any old pictures. Not sure if it will be worth it to hike in a large enough pole to get above trees, looks like it’s only going to be 2 of us on the crew. I’ve only been on Passaconaway during the winter and am having trouble remembering the exact summit surroundings.

The exact summit is treed in. You would need a decent flagpole to puncture the tree canopy. I remember some old photos of people that flew the flag from the nearby viewpoint. But, I will say, that Passaconaway is the most camera shy of all the peaks. We’d be happy to see them wherever you happen to fly it.
