I tried a number of different designs for the full-page flyer … some with more graphics, some with less. I even did one that had the flag as a big watermark in the background. I kept coming back to this simple design with the original Liberty photo. The wording is similar to the history, but I’ve rewritten it to just contain the minimum amount of “catchy” information as would be appropriate to a quickly-read flyer.
Thoughts? Suggestions for other photos? Love or hate the text copy?
Apologies to anyone on dialup – it’s a big file: 1.8MB Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file
where might the computer idiot find a reader for this?
Narf. Okay, try the 459KB .JPG file instead. It won’t be as easy to read because it’s going to appear as a very large picture in your browser, but if you can zoom out it will be fine.
I think it’s very good. Very direct and to the point. no need to Narf, I’m the idiot who can’t figure stuff out. Remember “what’s a MOD?”

Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to put this together
That photo takes my breath away each and every time I see it.
It’s so perfect, I understand why you kept coming back to it.
I would use either “raised” or “flown” but wouldn’t use both…
ching ching…that’s the sound of my two cents.:flag:
dirt_girluse either “raised” or “flown” but wouldn’t use both
I just hate repeating words. 😀
Lemme give it a day or two to forget what I wrote, then I’ll re-read it.
After that, the little cards, then figuring out how to get this stuff to people. -
