Troop 131 will be hiking the Mt. Garfield Trail off of Gale River Rd. to the summit. Starting time is 7AM to accomodate the slower hikers.

One note: the Gale River Road loop is closed at the south end between Rte 3 and the Garfield trailhead due to bridge issues and washouts from the storm at the start of August.

So you’ll need to go in from the north end of the road and drive the loop all the way around, past the Gale River Trail, to the Garfield Trailhead.
