This is just a place to drop some ideas that we could discuss at the planning meeting.
1. When you apply for your 4K patches, Gene Daniel sends you a info packet describing the 4K quest. How about we do something similar when people sign up. The packet could give:
a. your peak coordinators e-mail or street address to keep in contact.
b. Flagpole ideas
c. A short event history
d. Meeting places for before and after hike gatherings
e. A reminder to take pictures and submit them to the gallery
f. A thank you note for helping out.
Doing this would make the people more aware of the scope we hope to attain with this memorial.
2. Anyone know of a White Mtn. local Vetrans group that would like to assist us. They may be able to let us borrow flags and may even chip in and fly one from one of the Tram accessible summits.
3. Friday Sept. 10th. Pre-hike gathering to get the last minute kinks out.
