Terribly disappointed when I found out I basically had no part to play in this years trip. This is a group hike and not a 3 day camping adventure. Some of us that are signed up are unable to get these days off. Very disappointed i took saturday off work to basically not participate in this great event 😥

I’m sorry that the Peak Coordinator’s plan didn’t work out for you (I don’t see it posted here, how did they get in touch with you?) but there’s nothing preventing you from heading in Saturday morning as a day hike and helping with the setup up on the summit and participating up there, even though the actual hike in and out won’t be with the main group.
