I need to calculate the exact start time (between 7 and 8 likely), but this will be a simple out-and-back from Appalachia: up Air Line, a stop at the hut, then to the summit. Afterwards we’ll be cruising down Valley Way.

Start time is no later than 7:15am. If everyone who is signed up is at the trailhead at 7, we’ll go then. 🙂
It’s a 3:40 book time to get to the hut, and we won’t do much faster since Air Line has its steep portions, but it’s worth it given the spectacular views into King Ravine from up high. Air Line cutoff over to the hut for a quick stop then up to the summit.

If enough people are interested we may head over to Adams before going down.

In case of bad weather we’ll just do Valley Way up and back.

Given that we won’t be taking the flag down until 2pm and there are numerous post-event BBQs to attend, we may not try to do Adams. In that case, given the nice forecast we’ll probably head back on the Watson Path directly from the summit. Either way, we can all decide once we’re up there; descent doesn’t need to be done as a group, too.
