We plan to go up the Gorge Brook Trail, departing the trailhead at the Ravine Lodge at 8:30. The book time to the summit is 3:05.
The Blais Family is a restless lot, so our practice has been to raise the flag, take some pictures, relax, and then commit FOT48 heresy by leaving early. Just FYI.
On the return, the plan is to descend via Beaver Brook Trail and take in the cascades. However, if it rains on Friday or is forecasted for rain on Saturday, we’ll take the Benton Trail to avoid risking the “extremely steep and rough” sections along the Beaver Brook.
On Friday night, our group will be camping at Wildwood.
