Hey everyone, I’m so excited to have you join us on Mount Bond this year for this amazing event!! The plan will be to start hiking from the Zealand trailhead around 6:30am. Those wanting to hit Zealand or West Bond along the way should have plenty of time to do so! The total hike is around 18 miles and we should finish in a little less than 12 hours (including our time on the summit). It will be dark when we start so remember headlamps and all your basic hiking needs! We have the flag and pole all set and can divvy things up between us before we start. For those signed up, I’ll email you as a group and we can figure out maybe organizing a rideshare between Lincoln woods and Zealand!!

Great route. Team Bond. Can’t wait to hoist the flag with this group. I have a red jeep compass that can fit 4. I wouldn’t mind a car spot with this group.

Hey Team Bond!!

A little under a week out! Slight change in plans due to avoid having to do a car spot and extra traveling between trailheads. We will be doing an out and back from Zealand. It’s around the same hike time and mileage, but we will get to see all the views (hopefully) twice! We will still start at 6:30am! I will be sending a follow up email/text to those who emailed me just to confirm the details. Looking forward to meeting you all and be able to raise the flag on Mt. Bond!

Three days out. Im excited to be with this group. Ill be at the trailhead at 630 im fine with an out and back from Bond. Im looking at bringing some of the flags beers for a the group
