Welcome to Flags On The 48 2020 Team Mt. Hale! I’m Brian, your peak coordinator. This is my third FOT48 Event and first as PC. We have a couple of new hikers joining us this year. With that in mind, in addition to the crowded parking situation, we will meet at the Hale Brook Trailhead at 8 AM with boots on the trail scheduled for 8:30 AM. All hikers should be sure to bring sufficient food & water as well as the hikers 10 essentials. We will be spending 2-3 hours on the summit of a NH 4K mountain, so bring a warm outer layer of clothing. We will be flying my father’s 5′ X 9′ military funeral flag atop a 20′ pole. Location: 2.5 miles up Zealand Road, Jefferson, NH. Zealand Road is located off of Rt. 302 approx. 2 miles East of the Rt.302 & Rt. 3 intersection
