Greetings Mt. Hancock crew! This is our second year flying a flag. We will be meeting at the Hancock overlook at 8:30 and taking the traditional route to the summit (Hancock Notch/Cedar Brook/Hancock Loop Trails). We have a set of four 2″ PVC flagpole pieces and will need four group members to carry them and hike at a faster pace to plan to arrive at the summit for 11:00. The flag crew will begin setting up the pole and leave an hour for the rest of the group who want to take an easier pace to join at the summit for noon for the raising of the flag. Everyone in the group should know someone else, so reach out if you have any questions.
