For Mt Lincoln. We will take the Falling Waters Trail to Franconia Ridge Trail to Mt Lincoln. It took me 3 hours to summit the other day. I’m not a fast hiker so I would like to plan for a 7:30am on trail start getting all business taken care of before that. I have the flagpole, Flag, about 500ft of paracord. I would like to be at the summit by 11am to make sure we have enough time to get the flagpole prepared for flying. Probably don’t have to say it but make sure you bring plenty of layers, hats and mittens a must. There is limited shelter from the wind up there. Bring your own lunch and maybe something to share. If we are blessed with a beautiful day we will have a great vantage point for viewing flags along the whole ridge over to Cannon, maybe someone has binoculars or a camera with an awesome lens?
