Hi Everyone,
Just reaching out to coordinate details for the summit of East Osceola.
I represent BSA Troop 56 from Plymouth, NH. We are still coordinating amongst ourselves, but I am expecting us to have a group of 6 or so participants.
I know that the flag need to be up there between 12 pm & 2 pm on Saturday, but we would like to be up there for daybreak, to have a flag waiving at sunrise.
With that said, we are considering either bivouacking near the summit Friday night or departing the trailhead early (4 am) on Saturday morning. We have a flag and pole that we will set-up.
I’d like to hear from others in the East Osceola group to hear your plans, so please share with us here. I’m thinking that if others had planned on hiking Saturday morning, and have an additional flag and pole, then we could manage to pull shifts at the summit on Saturday.
