      Hey, Im brand new to this, and this will be my first year participating (doing Mt. Willey). I was just wondering if there was a post-event activty? (saw some pictures of the moosland grill, so thought that might something you do after the event)

        Hiker,

        Go to the thread titled “2005 Post Event Gathering” and you will see the discussion that has ensued about Mooseland etc. Basic answer – no one event is planned and you should try to find unofficial groups at campsites etc. We may well go to Red Parka Pub after Moriah.

          Welcome Hikerextreme! Trekman hit the nail on the head, Search out the threads and you’ll find out where people are staying, going to afterwards or before. Plus feel free to take part in the other dicussions, we are always looking for input from folks that are new to the event and the experiences they receive from it. Enjoy Mt. Willey and don’t forget the pictures!
