We successfully flew the flag (above the trees!) on South Carter. Our group of 4 had an uneventful trip up and enjoyed our 2 hours on the chilly, breezy summit. Spoke with many thru-hikers and day hikers who all appreciated the cause and the chocolate chip AND peanut butter cookies. Very few left after we stopped for a group of thru-hikers on the way down to Zeta Pass. I will post some pictures from the day in the next day or so. So happy to be able to participate again. :flag:
