We are Troop 26 in Pepperell, MA. Our plan is to leave Pepperell Friday afternoon Sept 12 and drive up and park at the trailhead on the Kancamagus Highway. We will hike up the Hancock Notch Trail part way and set up a base camp for the night. The distance will depend on the weather and time of arrival which should be around 6:00PM. Then we will get up early Saturday morning, summit, and set up the flag. We’ll return to the base camp, spend the night there, and hike out Sunday morning.
