A Troop of Boy Scouts is going to raise the flag on Mt. Tom. We will leave from Crawford Depot going up the Avalon Trail to the A-Z Trail to the spur trail. The summit has some open spots and we hope to see those on Mt Field and possibly Mt Willey with some good weather.

Field will be see-able from the eastern look out, I think there is a bench there. I don’t recall seeing Willey. You can also see Jackson, etc. from that side.

From the other side (west), you can see Lafayette, Lincoln, etc. This is where we put the flag last year. Good luck! 😀

Any flag size will do. We’ve had all sizes and multiple flags per peak as well.
