When I return to the area, I’ll stop in again and ask owner Dawn about those very nice gift certificates if they can be used as each party is flying a flag on separate mountains.

Diplomacy is the key, being local does help!

Here’s the deal:

If each separate summit group has a discount coupon, it’s ok.

If 60 say they are one group called fot48, then only 1 discount.

So we can just say our individual group flew a flag on Mt. x and receive 48 (or more) discounts!

I think that by rule such a discount should apply to each individual check, which is consistent with what you discovered. But I’m not a lawyer (nor do I desire to be one). 😀
