After looking into the flagpole issue, for a few more hours, John has adapted an 18′ fiberglass pole with eye bolts, grommets, ropes, and carriers. So we will be all set! We also have a couple of extra hikers coming up with us. See you soon! :flag:

That’s great! We have the eye bolts attached, and switched it to a 10′ aluminum pole. Joann

We will make a PVC flagpole, and bring it up next weekend, if you want us to. We’re thinking that a 10 foot pole would work, with cables to hold it in place. It will be in sections, so everyone can carry a part. Joann

Have you thought of PVC piping, to make a pole out of? That’s what previous captains we have hiked with used. We’re looking forward to it!

Hi Scott, We are really excited about this hike! I’ll be bringing some Massachusetts hikers – Jan, John, Keith, Nancy and my husband Al. Tav and Steve cannot join us, but Jay Davini will be there. I wasn’t sure how to cancel and add a name, but maybe you can do that. I hiked Moosilauke last year for the FON48s, and South Kinsman two years before that. We just finished our 67th last month, and love Field. See you next weekend, Joann
