      Flags on the 67?

      100?

      115?

forget the NE 115 – you would have to get the 46ers involved – a few times i have mentioned this (flags) to the “big shots” in the adirondack 46ers – not any interest at all…

as far as i know, i am the only one raising a flag in New York for 9-11.

s#!t – i just read this in the forums now – that sucks, i have 3 myself and couldn’t imagine what it could be like to lose one – i am so sorry to hear that – what a shock – i did Mount Marcy, NY on saturday (if i had participated in NH i would have already known)- take care and i hope to see you again at FOT48 (when 9-11 isn’t on a weekend, i will be there again 2012)…

          >>Non 4,000′ peaks?<<
this is not a “Non 4,000′ peak” but it was done – Mount Marcy New York 5344′ a 15 mile round trip.
i started doing it on 9-11 back in 2003 (i also started my first Flags On The 48 in 2003).
Mount Marcy, NY pictures are on page 6 (just after Zealand) in the photo galleries…

            Signups will be July 13th.:flag:

signup would be nicer in june, before vacation season – i always seem to be on vacation for signups – this year i had to stop outside the library in saint-jean-sur-richelieu, luckily they left their wireless on (if they hadn’t, i would have had to cruise around the neighborhood to find an un-secure wireless connection).
anyway – – – good the hear that 48 were all flagged again…

The permissions are still locked; I assume Chris will be opening it up as soon as he can (he was camping).

If you look at page 3 in the gallery there are pictures for Lincoln that have been there since yesterday, I guess you don’t have to be a detective to figure out who did Lincoln (the guy that didn’t unlock it)…

i have brought this up with quite a few of the “officers” in the ADK 46ers, and also informed the “peeks” editor (letting them know about FOT48) and none seemed that interested – if you can’t even get the 46ers interested, i doubt if you can get anyone else interested – – but i have been climbing N.Y. every 9/11 – check out:

(also if you go to the FOT48 photo gallery there are N.Y. pictures on the last page for the last 3 years)

Understood. I hope you tried the superb pizza later that evening that periwinkle donated from her local store, just down from the KOA on the boulevard. Or the slices of watermelon to fill one who burns too many calories while hiking all day!

yep – i was the only one with a long knife (a fish fillet knife) so i sliced up the whole watermelon (and i scooped out the two end pieces and ate them) – and the pizza was good too…

oh… i remember steven offering something, but i didn’t hear what it was and i had already had enough to eat so i didn’t ask – that’s why i missed the steak.
