See ya then!
in reply to: Should you need to cancel. #61493Let me know if you need a peak covered last minute, have a rig and flag all set if need be!
in reply to: South Kinsman #61462Hey Steve! I am speaking for myself and KateplusFinn (my girlfriend and my dog). Either way up is fine with us, the Easton side might be nice to afford the crowds like you said. We can move at a pretty reasonable pace, being on the trail by 8 should be enough time for us to get up there with time to setup. (Just giving you an idea of our comfort level). I also have a complete pole and flag setup, let me know if you want me to bring anything.
Thanks!
Good to her from you Casey! I think Guyot on Saturday night and then out over the Twins will be a nice trip. Guyot should be able to accommodate us, summer crowds should be gone by then. There’s always the shelter and overflow sites nearby if needed.
All signed up for the peak are encouraged to join in on the backpacking fun if you can! If not, come for a great day hike. Either way we can all meet at 6:30am Saturday morning at Lincoln Woods and hike in together and raise the flag as a team.
in reply to: South Carter #55503Hey Donna!
I’ll see you on the 14th at the trailhead. All set with a flag/flagpole?
Thanks,
Kylein reply to: Confirmation 2011 #55040I can confirm Lafayette.
in reply to: Lafayette PLEASE!!!!! #55028Minister, I’m also registered to do Lafayette. Since we haven’t heard from the leader, my suggestion is that we go up the old bridal path. We can meet at the lafayette place parking lot on the east side of 93, for the old bridal path trail head. If we meet at 8am that should give us more than enough time to get organized and on the peak by noon.
I’ll go to home depot tonight to put together a flag pole and a flag, unless you have any materials already.
Let me know if this works for you and I’ll repost it under a new topic.
I’ll be coming up from Connecticut with one of my friends and my dog, so at least we’ll have 3 people and a mascot to get it done.
