      Not at all! The question posed was “I’m going to try to be at Tom this year. Does anyone recall if there are good views of other peaks from there?” and I answered!

        There are two viewpoints on Tom. At the “true” summit, you look at the Pemi and the Twins. At the other side, up towards the Presidentials.

              I agree – kudos to everyone!
              I hope to get the minutes typed up tonight but if not, I’ll have them by Wednesday evening (I’ll have time with the laptop at the doctor’s office waiting room on Wednesday).

                  Heh-heh. I can help set up. I don’t have my big huge tarp anymore, unfortunately. What time are folks going to be there on Friday? I’m guessing we’ll arrive and set up 5ish, then head out to dinner, then come back to hang out.

                    The separation I understand; it’s the layout for business cards I don’t know how to do.

                    Plus, no idea what digital format they would want.

                    Hopefully the answers to these can be provided to me this weekend by the person doing the printing?

                        I probably cannot have it for this weekend. I would need to know more details, like do I lay out 8 cards on one 8-1/2×11 sheet, just lay out one card, that sort of thing?

                          Una_dogger and I will be on the Osceola hike Saturday. I’m hoping with the openness up there that even up high we won’t see much ice or snow. I’m certain the ledges will be bare, the rock faces are always the first to go. I don’t plan to bring winter footwear. 🙂

                          No hiking Sunday, though. Need to get back to Mass.

                            So the only cards I have leftover from last year list last year’s event date on them. I can bring them if anyone wants to sit with a pen and correct them. 🙂

                            I copied the stuff to make the letterhead from the big Mac to the iBook so I can work on it in any free time I get. I’ll have something, no worries.

                            I can do 4-color separations of the cards, too, but what I don’t know is what format a card maker wants. The ones I’ve done are just in OpenOffice.

                              Cards I’ll have to check at home; placards I have, but just changed by me to say 2006, not the full set of text edits that have been made.

                                I will try and whip something together tonight or more likely Sunday night from last year’s flyers, since it really just means rearranging the graphics and removing all the text.
