I’m giving up my planned hike to coordinate this spectacular hike to Isolation. My intended route is the traverse, Glen Boulder to Rocky Branch which is 13.3 miles r.t., 3,800′ of elevation gain, and a booktime of 8:35. We will meet at the Rocky Branch parking lot to be ready to leave promptly at 7:30 to drive to the Glen Ellis parking lot and hit the exciting Glen Boulder trail. See you there!
in reply to: 2007 signups #52701Thank you for your point of view, Vernon! Now the readers should have a deeper understanding of how the Scouts program works. My friends and our readers look forward to your participation and the weekend.
Ken, we look forward to seeing you whenever you arrive! There is no early nor too late. All the best to you and yours! Magic.
in reply to: 2006 Full Coverage!!! #52801Glad to read the hiker’s rock pile post. This gives me even more ideas to share with all next year.
Pinkham Notch Visitor’s Center agreed to display a laminated flyier almost 2 weeks ago. I checked Thursday when our group hiked the Carters and all is well.
Full Coverage once again! Woo-hoo!!

…what if a relative of a victim heard about this and wanted to fly thier own flag on a certain peak – would you let that person have a special peak???
“Anyone can fly any flag on any peak,” is my personnal feeling. Although 10 in 1 group is encouraged as per lnt principles.
The steering committe discussed this in detail earlier this year and made a determination. I’m not on the committee, so I’ll let them answer.
Great route choice Ken! You’ll eliminate all the traffic and have a stree-free ride. I gave up traffic 23 years ago, and I don’t miss it. See you at the KOA!!
Once you get thru that, and Boston, it is pretty much clear sailing to here. Whenever you arrive, see you at the KOA in Woodstock with the croo!!
😀So very glad you can join us once again, Ken. See you at the outing!!
😀The software remembers what IP address voted. Ask the husband to vote too!
in reply to: 2007 signups #52692SK, Great that you can join in.

What’s the matter, Rick, can’t you be in two places at once?
MarieI’ve seen people trying to be in two places before and it sure doesn’t look pretty!
Hope you guys stop by the campgound over the weekend. I’d like to meet you and share copies of what folks have written in my journal over the past 4 years that I’ve been the Cabot peak coordinator.
Mt Cabot: 2002 thru 2005. Time to pass the ball. My best to you!
