in reply to: South Kinsman #54353Jay and I are betting Nurses On Top will do the normal thing and bring their rig regardless. But either way I am taking along the only other flag I have left, the little 12″x18″, so that someone can run it over. Jay is going to head of to cover Bond (bless that wonderful man! 😀 ) after Chris had last minute personal issues. Hopefuly no one esle cancels between now and then!

in reply to: Galehead 2009 trip info #54333Hey Bill, you may want to edit your peak name in the title since your on Garfield, not Galehead (just so your team mates don’t get confused.) :flag:
Have fun!

in reply to: North Kinsman #54261We lost a few people, but gain others. Bobby and his son are tentatively planning on joining us. And we will need them since Jim’s flag rig is not exactly the most “portable” 😆 . So we will probably be continually handing it off to each other. 😮

in reply to: New England Peaks #54296There has been discussions in the past on extending to other peaks in the Whites with lackluster feeling towards it, but I don’t remember any discussion per se about other states. The general opinion of those not in favor of it indeed think it would take away from the event in general. BUT, as previous years photo galleries show, occasionally a flag is flown on Mt. Marcy in NY on the day of the event here in NH. By all means, if anyone wants to fly a flag on any of the ME, VT or NY flags in conjunction with this event no one is going to complain in the least. But as far as this site is concerned I beieve the focus will remain on the NH48.

in reply to: how do you become the primary contact for a peak? #54283I know a couple people had some initial problems with the upload feature but it was worked out quickly, so I am not sure where the new issue may be. Perhaps Chris or MichaelJ, who are more computer saavy, can pinpoint the problem for us…..
