One coupon per mountain(group) seems resonable, since we won’t all be there at the same time. One coupon for the entire FOT48 group does not. :flag:

If they already know we’re coming they may not be very resonable on the coupons. Someone with good negotiating skills should call and check… that would not be me. :argue: 😀

“WET cotton on the other hand in cold temperatures is the anti-christ.”

That’s what I meant… Of course, it wouldn’t be so bad if the weather in the White’s was a little more reliable. 😀

The t-shirts would be fine if they came in 100% polyester, or something similar. I doubt many hikers, especially those who understand the evils of cotton, would want to wear cotton t-shirts on mountain trails. :flag:

Question: Who are the original 6?

                  Dirt_girl,
                  next to last paragraph,
                  “overwhelming” should be “overwhelmingly”

                  It’s getting better and better.

                    My thought is:
Dirt_girl’s version is superior, particularly towards the beginning. Sorry Greg 😀 . My English professor would be proud of her. 😀

Well wouldn’t you know it. It seems my family has gone and planned a big family reunion for the weekend of the 26th and 27th, relatives are coming in from all over the U.S. and I have to be there. Oh well, that’s life; So I won’t be at the planning meeting or any of the hikes that weekend 😥 , but on September 11th I’ll be planting a flag on a 4000 footer. :flag: That will be my birthday present to myself. See you on a summit or at the post-event gathering.

While I don’t have a particular place in mind. I would guess that the majority of us live south of the White Mtns. So it would seem that the Lincoln area might be more practical, especially for those who will be :flag: in the southern White mtns.

I had originally planned to bring a couple of people, but I can’t reach them. Now I’m registered twice, woops.

11 now, plus I’ll probably bring 1 or 2 other peakbaggers with me.

Fransted family campground in Franconia (just off exit 37) is a possibility. I haven’t camped there but their website says they’re opening up May 1, 2004. http://www.franstedcampground.com
