Last year, the newest addition to our family, my nephew, was just one week over 3 months old. Granted he did not hike under his own power and he slept most of the way but he made it to the top. We did it again this year and he is just over 15 months. He is pictured on the top of Waumbeck. His picture never made it last year.

I didn’t realize that not being on the T&R meant that your peak was not covered. I am not the Team Coordinator but Team Pokey will be on top of Waumbek. We have been for 3 years and don’t plan on stopping now. I also spoke with Paul and he planned on being there.

Your pictures are great. Thanks for letting us add ours too. We have a couple of you all bringing yours down and putting Justin’s up and there is a group one of us that we would like to add. I hope you don’t mind. I don’t want to rain on anyone’s glory. But my thought is we were there for the memory. Anyway, my sister has them on a disc and she may email them to you or try to add them. To the Waumbeck crew, thanks for waiting for us at the top and helping my nephew to raise his small flag too. You made him feel very important. :flag:

I used to live in Greenland New Hampshire and one of the pilots from a plane that went into one of the Towers was also from Greenland. It was a time to stop and reflect. How quickly things can change?

It was a fantastic day! Someone was looking out for us with the weather and has every year.

So sorry just read this so it is probably too late but we, team pokey, are joining the crew to waumbeck. I am pretty sure Shawn said they were going to Mooseland and there are 4 of them and if the baby enjoys his day and isn’t too crabby there will be 4 from Team Pokey
