I actually just travelled to the future and back and it’ll be sunny with winds 15-25mph all weekend and a high of 75 both days.
Did I make it to the planning meeting? I mentioned that I would like to have the day off but people with more seniority will be on vacation and I did not really get an answer.
I believe I would be arriving at the KOA too late Friday night so I am going to leave home a little later and go straight to Lincoln Woods.
I have no plans right now to meet anyone so I’ll probably just start hiking when I get there.
I still hope to get to West Bond before theirs comes down.
Good luck to all and see you at the KOA Saturday night.

in reply to: How did you learn of Flags on the 48? #52900I first saw it on the AMC thread but followed it on AZ, where IIRC it was picked up almost immediately, and was a temporary home until this site was started.

does the NE 115 include the NH 48?
dirt_girlYes. And 4000 footers in ME, NY, and VT
in reply to: Kinsman, North #51573If this is the same PC that had Bond last year ( the looks familier) she may not have computer access during some of the summer months and hopefully you will hear from her now that school is back in session.:)
She has a great flag and nice pole set-up too!!
1 week 😀

Jess are you coming to the KOA?
in reply to: KOA Broken Branch Sat 9/10 #51413😀
Thanks Jay. That sound great!!
I’ll be fixing my flag pole too. The other day my neigbor had an emergency and I had to use a section of it 🙂
in reply to: Bondcliff suggestions #51327I agree with MichaelJ on hanging it from the base. I really would have liked to but decided against it.
And, we had no problem using PVC with 4 lengths of paracord for support, In fact there was a perfect spot between some of the rocks to support the base of the pole. 🙂

Everyone have fun tonight! Everybody Wang Chung tonight! Oh, wait a minute…. 😀
I wish I could go, but I have to be at work by 6 am in northeast CT. Have a ball on my behalf!
Smitty
Same here except SW CT 🙂
I was going to try and make it without the camping overnight but since I haven’t even gotten home yet it would be after 9:00pm before I got there anyway.:(
Have fun and see you in 1 month :flag: :flag:
in reply to: Wow, 3/4 of the way already #51027Yes, great progress so far :flag: :flag:
A couple surprise me that they’re still there but they won’t last long and I’m sure someone that wasn’t available today or :gasp: forgot will be happy to claim one. 😀
in reply to: Updated History Page ?? #50860It looks and reads great!!
Is it time to update the date on the home page yet or is that going to be when sign-ups start?
in reply to: Grandfathered Peaks #50866I like it.
If someone has picked the same peak three years in a row, chances are it means something more to them.
And, IMO if they’ve been there three years in a row they should have an opportunity to continue as coordinator if they choose, and a thank you. :flag: :flag:
in reply to: 2005 Planning Weekend: May 21-22 #50721I too had computer major issues.
I finished about an hour ago. All have been re-formatted and are ready for Monday morning.
But, I have missed the meeting and seeing everyone 😥I hope the weather was good and I’m sure a good time was had.
Just in case anyone wants to do it again, I’m planning on making up for it next weekend 🙂

Welch Dickie is a quick 3 hour hike. How about a nice Tripyramid hike?
About as decent as they come!
I’d be interested in the Tripyramids on Sunday.
I’m also looking at something for Saturday. Passaconaway? Carrigain? Isolation?
Or Tripyramids on Saturday?
