      Thanks to everyone on Cannon, especially Cathy for leaving us the hotdogs and chips! They were awesome (and still warm). And thanks to Gram for the photos of past events.

        See you then. We’ll most likely get there early. I posted the same info under the “Cannon” heading. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

          Plan is to meet in the parking lot at 8:30 and get on the Kinsman Ridge trail by 9AM. I’ll be driving a blue Jeep Liberty with an American flag attached to the window and have my 14 year old son and border collie Alaska with me.

            I’ll be on the Gale River Trail at 7:30 with my usual hiking companion Alaska the wonder dog. I’m bringing my grandfather’s flag because I told my father I would. Not bringing a pole because all my companions bailed on me. As a first timer I’ll observe & learn.
