Final update for West Bond……..
Small crew heading in Friday the 10th, hitting the Gale River Tr about 12:30-1:00, planning on finding stealth camp sites either near junction of Garfield Ridge TR or just north of Galehead Hut that night. Next morning heading up to So Twin summit then on toward West Bond via Twinway Tr.in reply to: How to upload photos 2020 #64486Hey Chris,
Could not access MORIAH 2020 from “Create a new Gallery” dropdown. I can see it under Manage Gallery as ID 144
Realize it is supposed to give me a list of peaks instead od creating a new gallery, but no dropdown list appears.
Any suggestions?
ScooterOH plan remains the same, most of the crew is heading in Fri afternoon from Lincoln Woods Ctr at approx. 1:30, stealth camp north of Black Pond and proceed toard summit Sat morning. As mentioned, plan on pressing to summit from Blk Pond around 7:45 for those coming in on Sat morning. Looking forward to a great day in the Whites and flying our colors on Owls Head in honorable remembrance of the 9/11 fallen and those who gone since then as we continue to fight for freedom.
Scooterin reply to: MOUNT BOND 2016 #55788Hello Team!!
Have made contact with most of you by now, for those few waiting for the final plan……here it is;
I plan on heading up Zealand Tr. on Sat. with three other folks between 1:30-2:00 in the afternoon. Will be stealth camping just past Zealand Falls Hut Sat night then meeting other team members Sun morning at Zealand Falls Hut about 6:45-6:50ish with plans to be on trail to Bond by 7. If you wish to go to Bond directly or via an alternate route, feel free, I have enough in initial party to manage pole system etc. If you are meeting us at the hut, I will have a black pack and a black lab with blue saddlebag style pack…:0)
If you can let me know your intent prior to Sat at 11:00, great!
Looks like we may see a little rain Sun early on, but hopefully out of the area by 11:00, temps will be hovering in the mid to low 60s on top with 10-15 mph winds likely, dress appropriately. All in all should be a great day to honor those we lost and let the flag fly on Bond!! :flag:
See you all soon and thx u for your support.
Scooterin reply to: MOUNT BOND 2016 #55787Sounds great, thx for your support. Should have plenty of gear, but an extra 50′ of rope/cord is always handy if winds are crazy that day. Do you have a cell number I can contact you with if something comes up? My cell is 6033120529. Look forward to meeting you and your group.
Thx again,
ScooterSaxman it appears my team may be tasked to cover Bondcliff but will try to help you out if we can. Admin (Silentcal) had asked if we could take lead on Bondiff. If this changes I will be in touch. My email address is Sstaatjes@gmail.com. Take care. Scooter. (Team NHANG)
