      The topic has been discussed elsewhere, but I just wanted to lend a heads up that the rocksontop.com gathering will be held the same weekend and at the same location. Your all welcome to join in our festivities if we don;t simply combine both.

          I got a pic of it as he flew low in the Pemi Between Owls Head and the ravines of the Bonds. I’ll have to get a look at it tomorrow and post a link.

            Hey Pucknuts… pack in that beer you owe me :beer:
            I am going to try and run over to Galehead in the AM for a quick hello before the run back to Bondcliff.

            Not sure my flag is as big as I would have liked it to be. 😕
            Only 6 feet by 3 feet. Going to try and find a bigger one before then. 😥
            I tried ordering some online but it would not have arrived until AFTER 9/11.

            So.. I’ll have my Flag (visible with binoculars even standing in front of it) and I am brining prayer flags as well for Katrina victims.

              Last I knew the flow over sites are used as a LAST resort.. as in.. shelter full to the max as well as all tent platforms with 2 tents to a platform.

              Guess we’ll see

                  Was on West Bond yesterday (8/27) and you should note that the summit Cairn on West Bond has been destroyed by the Forest Service. I know someone who is planning on trying to rebuild the cairn the morning of the event. The rocks are still there and useable.

                    Even though Zealand rd is to be closed… We’ll be heading in from Rte 3.. going up the rd.. over Hale.. and hitting zealand before reaching Guyot.. feel free to join us!

                        If you come to guyot for the big night before.. you’ll have plenty of participants ot interview and even some awesome flag views for the film!

                        I am also willing to help with DVD duplication and distribution.

                            As far as I know Artex will be spending the night of the 10th at Guyot…

                            and I know for a fact you’ll find me, Sarah and Lendawg up there as well.

                            But we’re coming in over Hale and Zealand 1st. 😀
