Anita, I believe the actual sign-up for this mountain is actually full but you are more than welcome to join our group. We are a rather large one so when we arrive ask for SherpaTom or Natasha
in reply to: Eisenhower #64825The plan right now is to leave the HC after breakfast at around 8:15 but more importantly, be at the Edmands Path trailhead, off Clinton Road at 8:30 and leave no later than 8:45. We have a rather large group so we will try to stay together for the most part, no setting any speed records. If you know you will be late, let me know. 508-505-8288. Thanks,
SherpaTom
in reply to: Eisenhower #64798Diane, we have everything covered with equipment, etc. Look forward to meeting you and joining our group. Let’s hope for good weather.
The plan is still to go but safety no#1 objective. I have been trying to get in touch with gentleman through Facebook who was to stay at Lakes and had interest is fly his grandparents flag. I wanted to check in to see what his plans were in case we were unable to summit. John??? You out there???
in reply to: Moosilauke 2016 #55778Craig, you have been a great “newbie’ addition. Good luck and be safe.
in reply to: Mount Pierce #55748Just checking, what weather report are you reading?
in reply to: Moosilauke 2016 #55769Craig, I have constructed a flagpole using PVC (obtained directions from someone on this site years ago) and created a PowerPoint for directions. I believe it breaks down to (8) 2.5′ sections. Contact me at tomcal15@verizon.net if interested.
in reply to: Eisenhower #55738We met you on the way down…Team Monroe

What gives? (look for leslie and robbie for starters). The peaks are not next to each other either.
Also, people are obviously signing up ‘non people’, like S T2, S T3, etc.
:uzi:
I was the one signing up as ST2, etc as in Sherpa Tom 1,2,3… It makes it easier and faster to get the names in. Sorry if it cause you any grief, however I was shut out for my first three choices and then got my 4th. At same time, had my wife sign in for one, whereas later I requested deletion of all the ST1, 2,3…. As noted, it is frenziness the first 10 minutes but I communicated all my changes appropriately. As far as other non-names, some like to use trail names which I believe is very cool. As long as people fulfill the obligations, it should be a great day for all. I hope this makes sense. Thanks, Sherpa Tom
in reply to: 2012 Confirmation thread #55333Confirmed, although too windy for actual summit, we were able to secure it safely just below. The walk back accross Edmands col was quite interesting between 2-3pm.
