Glad you can make it again Bill! I’m not really sure what we’ll climb that weekend. I’m up for anything. I really enjoyed the group hike up Garfield. Chris, do you have a 4000 footer you need to get in that area?

Also a topic of discussion is where it should be held. The KOA in Woodstock gave us a great rate last year. Would folks be interested in returning there?

I last got an e-mail on Oct 14th about the film. They were working on a 90 second trailer for the film and still had much work to do and look at for the finished product. It’s being done on a volunteer basis, I believe, so there really is no set timetable as to it’s release date. I’ll send up another e-mail and see if there is anything new to report.

            in reply to: Calendars? #51946

I made a calendar last year as a sort of test. I used Shutterfly for the calendars but some of the photos came out very fuzzy. I’ve used Shutterfly before on calendars to send to my parents and they came out excellent. Maybe someday down the road calendars might be available. Like I said, it was a test.

Great report! What a piece of luck to have a peak Ethan had not completed open up. Thanks so much for picking it up! I hope you can make next year’s event again with Ethan. Thank you for the pictures as well.

I truly would like to know if the pilot knew of our efforts. Actually I scanned the photo gallery before I left. So it’s easy to put faces and names together. You and your crew have been with Flags for several years now and it’s very appreciated. :flag: Hope to see you again next year!

Glad to hear you had a great trip. CT319 was going to set up South Carter’s flag as well if no one took the peak. It’s great to know that someone took it and the backup plan was not needed. It’s becoming really nice to hear from folks along the trail that they know of the event and our thankful for the efforts of all the flagbearers out there.

Thanks again CT319. Hope to see you next year.

I’m positive that Wildcat D was done. I spoke to Terri at the Mooseland about it and she told a quite amusing story of Jackson on the Gondola. I’ll try and find out about the other two.

I can see where the KOA would deserve one. I think they really treated our group well. I can’t see a valid reason why we should go anywhere else. A thank you would help them remember us for next year.

Madison, care to write one up?

One of the best in all the Whites! Signal Ridge is not too shabby either.
