Awesome, I assume you won’t be in the A-10 that I’ve seen up here lately.
Hope your long-range lens are is good shape.
Bridge Construction is most certainly going on Chris. It’s posted all over the AMC site and they have made plans to shuttle people to the Zealand Road parking lot with a van they will leave on the other side. Fording the river will be nessacary. Perhaps someone else can chime in with how difficult that may be.
Who was ribbing you? The moderators must be sleeping not catch that 🙄
:flag:Welcome Jessbee- We do have a section labeled Flags and Flagpoles than may be able to help you out. Many folks use PVC piping that can be found at Home Depot. Others use electrical conduit, screenhouse poles, or roof rakes. Just be sure that it is properly staked down. Wouldn’t want it to fall in a strong gust of wind.
in reply to: South Twin #51079Well Brownie if your going to boast, I surly expect to see this Flag from Moosilauke. Pucknuts has stated that your are the rigging engineer of the South Twin crew. I guess it’s up to you to be the top flag on the Pemi Rim. Good Luck :flag:
I’m ready. Weather is the only thing that worries me. All the peaks being covered is moot, we have done our best and can’t ask for anything more. There seems to be a good general buzz on the Internet about it. The VFTT post has gotten thousands of views.
I do have a small list of things to discuss at next years planning meeting.
As for all the peak coordinators signing in on Trips and Routes, It’s not required but STRONGLY encouraged. Please try to post there.
in reply to: Weather forcast 9/11 #51556You did this last year, dirt girl and Mother Nature came through in spades. Let’s hope you are right again.
in reply to: A generational thing #51540I qualify as the shortest…….Does that get me anything other than sarcasm :flag:
The first year, we have a picture of a youngster on Field. That may be the youngest. Oldest 🙄 I’m not touching that one.
in reply to: New Hampshire Magazine #51513Lisa quietly sent out all the press releases through her work. She was going to do some follow-up send outs before she left. It’s too bad she won’t be back, she’s been here for every event. Thanks Lisa for your help. We’ll be thinking of you.
in reply to: Osceola, East Peak #51283Welcome Deerock40! Your going to need a good amount of PVC to get through the trees on East Osceola. But it can be done! Good Luck.
