      Many thanks to the worcester amc folks for making sunflare, kaya, and I feel so welcome.

      Considering that we didn’t know which route we were hiking until 11am or so, I am shocked that it all came together so smoothly. Your route up Rocky Branch was definitely better than the Glen Boulder trip we had originally planned.

      #46/48! Almost done.

        I haven’t seen anyone else from Isolation crew posting here. For lack of any official organization, my plan is:

        * Visit KOA on saturday evening to hang with folks
        * Camp at Dolly Copp
        * Leave from the glen boulder trailhead at 6am
        * Summit around noon. We will have some rope, stakes, hiking poles, and a laughably small american flag.
        * Descend via Rocky Branch, hitch back to car if necessary
        * Dinner at Red Parka

        I hope to meet some other Isolation crew somewhere along the line.

          As part of the Isolation crew, we’ll probably copy Team Moriah’s plan. Camp at Dolly Copp, hit the Red Parka post-hike. Display an american flag so we can find you!

            Where are isolation crew folks staying on saturday night? KOA sounds fun, but is awful far away. The Moriah crew is staying at Dolly Copp, which is much more convenient. (but less of a Gathering)

              There may be many dogs named Kaya out there, but there is only one real Kaya. Sort of the Platonic ideal of kaya-ness. Yup, she’s the one you know.

                I’ll second KOA for another reason – they’re pet friendly. Kaya the Wonder Dog would be happy to hear that she doesn’t have to spend all of dinner in the car.
